Liga antirevizionistă română şi iredentismul

Subiect: During the inter-war period the revanchist countries politics threatened the territorial integrity of Romania. The politica! and scientific life officials largely supported the initiative to set up an organization able to figh t the revisionist propaganda, such as that one promoted by Hungary. In the end of 1933, various organizations and associations of public life founded the Romanian Antirevisionist League, led by Stelian Popescu, director of "The Universe " newspaper. He took action both in our country and abroad orga nising meetigs and conferences, printing many propagandistic works and improving the relation with the countries willing peace. Large categories of people took part in al! these undertakings more or less, icluding the pupils and the students aware of their patriotical mission.
