Ofensiva forţelor aliate în Noua Guinee şi Insulele Solomon în Al Doilea Război Mondial

Subiect: During 1943, the Empire of the Rising Sun lost many territories which it had conquered rather easily at the beginning of the war. The utopia of the Coprosperity Sphere began to disappear when faced to the American economy that produced more war technique than Japan could cover to establish a favourable balance of forces. Within this period numerous aeronaval and amphibian operations were performed, this type of military combat gaining a more and more permanent character as they were aiming at conquering islands with land troops in clase cooperation with aviation and fighting vessels.
