  • TITLU în română: Spiru Haret în memoria posterităţii

By praising his achievements in education and his social work, his admirers felt proud to follow his example and to abide by his great ideas, both in education and teaching as well as in raising the peasantry to a better cultural and economical life, through enlightenment and association. Many scholars have written books or articles in which they showed that Spiru Haret will always he appreciated for the way he organized the modern Romanian educational system. Those authors highlighted that Haret's name is profoundly connected to our nation's educational system and culture and agreed that he will remain as such for etemity by the raising of Haret's statue in front of the Bucharest University. With this statue, posterity has paid a debt of gratitude towards one of the most distinguished personalities in the panoply of great Romanian teachers.
