Reconstituirea unor acte de proprietate în cancelaria lui Radu Şerban

Subiect: By comparing two records issued, on 26 May 1607 and on 5 January 1609 from Radu Şerban's chancellery with sîx fragments of records of the Natîonal Library in Sofia, the author could set up the manner in which the records certifying the property rights were compiled in the princely chancellery at the beginning of the 17th century. On basis of witnesses statements and the other existing drafts in the chancellery archives, a rough draft was formulated which served for compiling a record that was validated and handed to the owner. The draft was preserved in the chancellery archives and was used to certify, in case of need, the autenticity of the claimed rights. On the back of these drafts sometimes there were put down the witnesses declarations or there were made succesive attempts to partly formulate the text of another document. Since both the draft text and the notation on the back are referring, to the same estates but to other beneficiaries, it could be presumed that the chancellery archves were arranged according to the estates and not to their owners.
