Reprezentări heraldice pe documente de cancelarie din Moldova ( sec. XVII-XVIII), păstrate la Arhivele Statului laşi

  • Subiect: By analising the heraldic representations on eight chanchellary records from Moldavia 17th-18th centuries, the author of the article is demonstrating that in the respective period, the Romanian heraldic phenomenon was the result of some forms of learning as well as of some chancellery applications for a long time practised and transmitted through generations. The main heraldic representation of the analysed records is the official coat of arms representing an aurochs head. In some cases, beside this one it can be also found the Wallachia arms i.e. the eagle with a cross, the coat of arms united in this wav symbolising both the common origin and the nation unity.
