Subiect: The author is pressenting a rich correspondence relating to the Romanian revolutionaries exile to Turkey after 1848. Extendend texts, the one hundred thirty five letters the revolutionary major Alexandru Christofi addressed to General Christian Tell between 1852-1856 include some unpublished data on the revolutionaries exiled to Constantinople, Brussa, Smirna and Chios, on their relationship with the European democratic movement and on their views as regards the Great Powers policy, and on the ways of fulfilling their own ideals for unity and national independence.
