  • Subiect: A Few Historical Problems about the Legislation of the Proper Names Law and onomastics was a relation largely discussed, but it actually became firmly established only at the Trier Congress. In Romania, this relation differs under certain aspects from Transylvania to Walachia and Moldavia. The studies which have been published up to the present moment deal with some aspects which prove to be right: the first law which establishes a firm legislation of the proper names was promulgated on March 16th, 1895. The present study highlights a series of synchronically and diachronically aspects.
