Colaborarea dintre Universitatea "Lucian Blaga" şi complexul Naţional Muzeal "Astra" din Sibiu, în formarea studenţilor de la specializarea conservare-restaurare

  • Subiect: „The paper presents the way the university educational system was developed after 1990 in Romania, namely the training of restorers as well as the university centres which are dealing with training specialists for restoring and conservating cultural heritage. "Lucian Blaga" University, the National Complex "ASTRA" Museum and the Brukenthal Museum are the institutions which are collaborating in the programe of training students in the specialty of conservation - restoration.The trained students are working with polychrome wood, furniture, tempera painting, fabrics, metal, leather, oii painting, stone, graphics and photos. Up to 2005 , five series of students graduated { 71 students ) out of which 25 had made their university degree licence paper on restoration and conservation in the National Complex „ASTRA" Museum- Department of conservation and restoration. Within the museum is running a centre of training restorers. This centre has a very rich library with informative materials on conservation and restoration, available to all the students.”
