  • Subiect: The following research focuses on the complexity of social and medical difficulties in rural Transilvania. The Romanian historians and anthropologists considered that villages and communities of rural Transilvania were severely affected by a high rate of morbidity and mortality. The main cause of that historical reality deals with the lack of rural hospitals and care strategies. The Astra researchers also revealed the solution to beat that insurmountable situation. The mast devastating health problems were tuberculosis, syphilis and alsa the alcoholism.
