Săpături de salvare efectuate în necropola de incineraţie de la Gârla Mare (jud. Mehedinţi), în anul 2004

  • Subiect: Diggings for Salvation Effectuated in a Necropolis of Cremation From Gârla Mare (Mehedinţi County) ln August 2004 archaeological researeties were effectuated on Danube's shore, in the locality Gârla Mare. Due to some information obtained from some natives a necropolis of cremation belonging to the cultural group Zuto-Brdo-Gârla Mare could be identified. A big part of it was destroyed because of the excavation of a dune of sand. The researches permitted the identification of four funeral urns partially destroyed and three ornaments made of bronze.
