Omul nou sovietic. Pavel Morozov - Pionierul 001

  • Subiect: The Soviet New Man. Pavel Morozov - The Pioneer 001 At the beginning of the 50’s the Romanian children and the adolescents were learning about what a communist hero means, following the patterns of the Soviet propaganda. The pupils were told about Pavel Morozov – a child (a pioneer) from the Soviet Union killed by his family because he had denounced his own father. The story origins in the concept according to which nothing is too much when it is about serving the party. Thus the model Pavlic encouraged the delation inside the family. The pioneer denounces his father suspected to be an “anti-revolutionary” and then he is killed, for revenge, by the other members of the family. Pavlik Morozov is a product of the propaganda used with ability and then exported by the Soviet. The story was translated into Romanian and excessively popularized. It represented one of the new means used for the educational system. Thus the parents had no rights upon their children (they belonged to the state), especially when inside the family certain “reactionary” person existed. Then the state was “forced” to intervene.
