  • Subiect: GREEK-CATHOLIC PRIESTS' REPORTS ON RETREATING OF GERMAN-HUNGARIAN TROOPS, ENTERING RED ARMY SUBUNITS IN MARAMURES RESPECTIVELY, AND ON „ODOVICIUC REGIMEN" Beginning with the 15th october I 944, the branches of the 40th Soviet Army, belonged the second Ukrainian front, coming up în Historical Maramureş from Bistriţa. In just four days the all territory was formed along by the principal rute. In the document that we are concerning, the reports of greco-catolic priests from Sighet Protopopiat is described the way that the hostages was welcomed, their struggles, but specially their behavior of winners. In very city they was welcomed with enjoy and hope, because they were the conquers, the liberating army. In their honor the population was made up sometimes small ceremonies. Because they have the mentality of winners, (in some reports they was described like the „occupation armies"), some soldiers made up a few mistakes: requisitions of cartfuls, horses, foods, drinks, clothes, any valuable object etc. Some documents contents dates concerning the criminal acts, rapes etc. From the point of view of the greco-catholics priests that was the incestuous acts.
