Restaurarea unui pergament aplicând principiul minimei intervenţii / The restoration of a parchment based on the principie of minimum intervention

  • Subiect: The parchment was restored having in mind the basic principle of restoration, that of minimum intervention. In the first phase of the restauration process, the parchment was rehydrated, an intervention that was in agreement with the solutions proposed by the restauration commission gathered to evaluate this case. The rehydration took several weeks and was closely monitored during the whole period. Afterwards, the parchment was restored through specific restoration methods.
