Îngrijirea colecţiilor muzeale / The care of museum collections

  • Subiect: Collections are central to the activities of museums, given that exhibitions, educational projects, research and other activities focus on them. The care of collections is an important issue in a museum’s strategies. It is an essential responsibility for the museum professionals, who must create and maintain adequate conditions for the collections in their care, either stored, exhibited, or in transit in their museum. This is achieved through the creation and use of adequate wrapping and, at the same time, by ensuring optimal climate conditions which to prevent possible damage to the objects.
