Distrugerile provocate de armata germană în oraşul Cluj în perioada martie-octombrie 1944

  • Subiect: The city of Cluj has met the horrors of World War II once with the great Allied bombing of the city at June2, 1944. This one was followed by other bombings, but none of these ever reached the intensity of the first one. Actually, the greatest destruction wasn't caused by the Allied bombings, not even by the battles of war, but by the strategic sabotage made by the German troops in retreat, which wanted to destroy all those strategic objectives, which could be useful for their enemies. In some cases they managed to perform their plans, in other- because of several reasons- not.
