  • Subiect: This approach reveals the manners of nobility from Ţara Românească during the eighteenth century and the first half of the nineteenth century. Taking into consideration the confessions of foreign travellers and the Romanian documents we tried to put to light a segment of nobility's everyday life. Luxury, infidelity, prostitution are usual phenomena in those documents, but they are considered to be related to the manners of nobility from Western Europe.
