Consideraţii istorice pe marginea unor analize fizico-chimice efectuate asupra ceramicii culturii Precriş

  • Subiect: The present paper deals with the results received according some specific mineralogical, physic-chemical analyses, realized under some representative ceramic fragments, belonging to fine species, from the early Neolithic site from Ocna Sibiului - "Triguri". The comparative study, qualitative and quantitative, realized under the parameters of the specific composition of the ceramic - obtained on the basis of difractometry analyses - make possible the identification of some specific details and characteristics of the ceramic: type of clays used, modeling methods, pigments types, drying processes and other treatments of the surfaces before burning, types and conditions of burning, maxims and minims temperature of burning etc . The analysis were made in the CERO laboratories from Cluj-Napoca, having in view the modem methods and techniques of investigation and detecting of the mineralogical composition of ceramic, using X-ray difractometry. There were obtained two diagrams with specters and diffraction angles (fig. 1/A, B). On the basis of those results we made a hypothetical schema regarding the technological flux of making the red-ware ceramic of the Precriş culture (Protostarcevo - Starcevo I) (fig. 2). The final historical conclusions, realized on the basis of those results, proved to be important within the difficult process regarding life reconstruction of the prehistoric communities from this culture. We think that these kinds of studies are very useful in the Romanian archaeological literature, in case of a necessary opening toward multidisciplinary of archaeological research.
