Defect septal ventricular restrictiv complicat cu Endocardita Bacteriana Staphilococica la copil

  • Subiect: Ventricular septal defect is a common congenital heart disease in children, the evolution and therapeutically approach are indicated by the location of the defect, the magnitude of the shunt, the degree of pulmonary hypertension and the associated cardiac anomalies. The risk of bacterial endocarditis in children diagnosed with DSV does not depend on the size of the shunt, therefore, the problem of closing a restrictive DSV remains open to discussion. We will be presenting the case of a male child, 6 years old, diagnosed with restrictive perimembranous DSV and bacterial endocarditis with Staphilococcus aureus.
