Sindromul Ehlers-Danlos - Caz Clinic

  • Subiect: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is rare genetic disease studied by Ehlers and Danlos at the beginning of the last century. The diseases affect mostly the conjunctive tissue but other tissues and organs are affected too. The most important clinical signs are: skin hiperelasticity, articular hiperlaxity, dermatorexis, vascular fragility and others. The pathological feature of the disease is based on disorders of collagen synthesis caused by a genetic background. It was described XI clinical forms of the disease. We present a clinical case of a 10 year old boy, suffering of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
