Tratamentul farmacologic al depresiei rezistente: principii generale

  • Subiect: The pharmacologic treatment of resistant depression: general principles. The management of treatment resistant depression implies the follow of some specific steps. First of all, is necessary to eliminate the factors that are responsible for a false resistance. The most important of these factors are therapeutic non-compliance and suboptimal dosing of the antidepressive treatment. After the diagnostic of a resistant depression we can choose one of the multiple therapeutic options, of whom the most important is the method of combined therapy, which is used to a wide extent and is generally well sustained by the literature. The efficacy, safety and favorably adverse events profile of the new generation of antidepressants have simplified on some extent the treatment of resistant depression.
