Endoscopia - metodă de evaluare a modificărilor oro şi hipofaringiene la pacienţii cu tulburări respiratorii de somn

Subiect: The study of the sleep disorder breathing represents a new area, that involves the collaboration of doctors from different medical fields, including ENT physicians. The diagnostic and treatment of the ENT pathology, associated with sleep disorder breathing, represents a very important step in the evaluation of the patient and choosing an efficient therapeutically strategy. This is why it is important to know very well the stages of diagnostic and the new technics used for this purpose. This paper proposes to establish in a practical way, using clinical examples, the correlation between the ENT results obtained using endoscopy with rigid optics, a technic that emphasis the nasal, oro and hypo pharyngeal modifications and the poligraphic results, at patients with habitual snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
