Atentatul dejucat de la Olăneşti contra mareşalului Antonescu. O variantă de lucru

  • Subiect: The article deals with the attempt against Marshal Antonescu, which should have been conducted by a team of four legionnaires settled by Moscow in Olăneşti, at the end of July 1944. One of the legionnaires parachuted there, Cristu Gheracostea, gave himself up to the authorities from Băile Olăneşti. Another, Tudor Djonat, was seized by authorities, accidentally, in the same locality. A third one, I. Al. Miron, chief of the commando group, was assassinated by his mate, Andrei Vlăşceanu, who wanted to give himself up, as well. The assassin was buried in Olăneşti. Later this grave became ... The Soviet Soldier Monument. Antonescu should have been the one who did not want to give proportion to the case. Subsequently, in the area were parachuted other groups sent by Moscow with the same mission of removing the Marshal. About those three survivors, it is known that they just had a very good situation after the Soviet troops arrival in Romania, in August 1944.
