Un fenomen aproape dispărut - transhumanţa

  • Subiect: Here are just few reasons that made me focus on this complex phenomenon, and to relate just few of the issues, that in reality are more complex today for shepherds of transhumance from our country. Researchers and specialists have the moral obligation to report these aspects, and to draw up the alarm signal until it's not too late. The loss or disappearance of those people, that once represented a very well contoured social category, will take with it a part from what means transhumance spirit. If people like uncle Titu disappear, and they will not have followers to follow their steps, Romania will be poorer, than if she will make now the effort to help these shepherds of the Romanian's spirit and soul, in their crucial moments. I believe in the ability to adapt to the new social conditions of our transhumant shepherds and I will always be there for them to show to future generations what this continuous oscillation between hills, mountains and plains of the Romanian's people spirit has meant, and of our civilization bearing the seal „transhumant space” as our great poet and philosopher Lucian Blaga said.
