  • Subiect: An insight in the life of boyar Ion Dedulescu The boyars of Deduleşti family, who were prominent particularly in the 18th century, are known for the three places of worship in Deduleşti, Băbeni and Drăgheşti, the former Râmnicu Sărat county, that were entered as assets of the national heritage, as well as for the various high-rank offices they held. Ion Dedulescu, the high treasurer of Nicolae Mavrocordat's second reign in Wallachia, has become known in history due to his tense relationships with the Wallachian prince. While in refuge, he sent a number of letters to his wife informing her about his condition, as well as directions needed for raising the children and the management of his property during his absence.
