Subiect: The study approaches the Baia Mare chestnut forest under the geographic and ecologic aspect, focusing on the good conditions provided by the Baia Mare depression in as far as the environment, the climate and the sole are concerned. 1he text provides a thorough analysis of the spreading of the sweet chestnut in the Baia Mare depression, and the limits of certain areas which are study resorts and biocenotic.
