Dezvoltarea micii producţii de mărfuri în prima jumătate a secolului XIX în ţinutul Vaslui

  • Subiect: The development of small-scale commo­dity production in the district of Vaslui in the first half of the 19th century In the first half of the 19th century merchants and businessmen in Moldavin were conscious about the fact that the development of the whole Principality's economy essentially depended upon industrial development. Light industry was favoured due to the abundance of raw material resources Yet, the development of mechanized industry impeded by some feudal reminiscences still existing in the social and economic life. Under these circumstances special attention was given to the alimentary industry, taking into account, first of all, the abundance of raw material and its low cost price. The same grounds also lead to the development of the manufacturing industry.
