500 de ani de la moartea lui Ştefan cel Mare şi Sfânt. Contribuţii la studierea curţii domneşti de la Huşi

  • Subiect: In the 15th century there were also in Moldavia, besides the urban centres with an economic, political and administrative role, numerous towns which also had the role of being strategical and crossing points. Among these strategical towns it is also included Husi town, which was certified on December, 17th, 1487 by means of the letter that Steven the Great sent to the inhabitants of Brasov townlet. Melchisedec historian assignes another origin to Husi town, which according to a document from the 1 3th of March 1489 developed on the estate once owned by the landowner Husulthe precincts of the former village Buzesti situated on the valley of Elan. The town offers Steven the Great the possibility to supervise the southern part of Moldavia and the Prut valley due to its position on Falciu-Galati-Constantinopol direction. On the other hand, the importance of the town also owed to the custom that was imposed on the inhabitants in the outskirts of the town for the transport of salt and fish.
