  • Subiect: Together with the establishment of a new political system in Romania, the old national celebrations have been replaced with ones from U.R.S.S. or have been interpreted in order to serve to the new political ideology. Besides some of the celebrations as 1 of Mai (the international day of the work) or 9 of Mai 1977 (the proclamation of the independence), which were kept, appeared days in which have been celebrating different events, either related to the history of the Soviet Union (the birthday of Stalin etc.) or the day of our country.
