  • Subiect: Romanian Belgian relations In this study the author is trying to emphasize and to underline the Romanian Belgian relations at different levels regarding the historical, the political-diplomatic relations and fast but not least the cultural relations. This study is also dedicated to the celebration of 130 years of diplomatic relations between Romania and the Belgium Kingdom and to 113 years from the departure of the Belgica expedition towards Antarctica. And another aspect which is replenishing this study is the fact that in Vaslui, Romania at "Stephen the Great " County Museum of Vaslui, Oana Rusu had the opportunity to organize together with Mr. Patrick Van den Nieuwenhof, heritage coordinator of the New Belgica Project, from Boom Belgium and together with two organisations from Belgium: "New Belgica'' Organisation and "Belgica" Society, a Romanian Belgian Exhibition with the name: "Emil Racoviţă - Belgica Conexiunea Româno-Belgiană / Emil Racoviţă - Belgica. The Romanian Belgian Connection, which was opened on the 2th of July 2010, in the presence of His Excellency, Mr Leo D 'Aes, the Belgium Kingdom Ambassador in Bucharest, Romania and a Belgian delegation accompanied by Mr. Eddy Stuer, director of the New Belgica Organization, and by Mr. Willy Versluys, president of The Belgica Society.
