  • Subiect: The paper is a tribute to those who were Nicolae C. Pauleseu, and Grigore T. Popa who through their achievements in the medical field, their social involvement, not only were enrolled in particularly effervescent spirit of the age in which they lived, but even were able to outline the trends of that time. Nicolae C. Pauleseu is today undisputed discoverer of insulin, the hormone that regulates blood sugar, in absence of which, is developed diabetes, a disease with desastrous consequences on the body.
