Biserica "Sf. Nicolae" de la Micleşti - Vaslui, ctitorie a familiei Miclescu

  • Subiect: Founded in the 19th century (aprox. 1830 - 1833) by the head of the village, Raluca Miclescu, as chapel of the residence founded in the 17th century, on the place of some older ones of 17th – 18th century. The church has a rectangular plan, with altar apse and the belfry tower on pronaos, West entrance. It is made of bricks with stone foundation, four sided roof with short crests, plate iron covering (initially – tile of wood). At the interior, the domes support on arches, presents a dome in cradle or blunted on pronaos, cupola on nave and semi- calotte on the altar. The sober, neoclassical facades are decorated with double panels, deepened in the walls, simple profiles at the cornice and socle, windows and blind windows with arch openings. The belfry tower, with a square section, four levels, Baroque roof, has the same design as the church.
