Arta filatelică reprezentînd evoluţia agriculturii româneşti colectivizate

  • Subiect: PHILATELIC ART DEPICTING THE EVOLUTION OF THE COLECTIVIZED ROMANIAN AGRICULTURE The philatelic emissions summoned up in the present work appeared as a result of various motivations. First, one cannot ignore the pure philatelic consideration. Any event and any moment in the life of a community is bound to find its reflection in philately also. Apart from this, the issue of certain series that tried to confirm the "conquests of science and technique" in all fields, including the agricultural one, was nothing but a simple, explicit, common and extremely efficient method of propaganda in favor of this system. The mail meant, thus, the optimum solution for this purpose, considering also the slogans written on many of the philatelic values. Annually, there particular series issued for the philatelists that could be purchased at a very convenient price and then entered the private collections. The international exchanges were as if inexistant until the events from 1989 and consequently the actual value of the Romanian philatelic collections, grew considerably. Mast of these philatelic emissions were of high quality, produced by famous artists from this selective artistical domain, the heliogravure.
