  • Subiect: The collectivisation of agriculture in the village Şepreuş At the beginning of collectivization process, started in spring 1949, the communist regime în Romania has tried to accustom the peasants with the idea that individual properties are not as profitable as the large farms. The offensive of collectivization was accompanied everywhere în Romania by extensive propaganda campaigns, which abounded with the „successful models” of the Soviet Union. However, very few farmers have been convinced by the explanation work pursued by the party activists and willing to surrender their land holdings.
