Subiect: New documents concerning the echo of French Revolution in Transylvania. The measures of the central power in the spring of 1793 and the Circular Lefter of the Orthodox Bishop Gherasim Adamovici (the 30th of March 1793) The possibility that the ideas lying on the basis of French Revolution could be spread among the other peoples had created real emotions to European monarchies. Thus they took a series of measures to cease their spreading among the masses. The more Austria was interested in maintaining the internal order the more it was the principal force of the French coalitions, on the one hand, and on the other hand the Habsburg Empire was a conglomeration of peoples whose centrifugal tendencies could be fatal for the monarchy.
