  • Subiect: The author makes an analysis of the first documents about landlords from the ancient Covurlui County. We have presented the first family of boyars: the Cernats who are the owners of over 30 villages and other lands from the northern of Covurlui County. In the time of Stephen the Great (1457-1504) Steful Cernat was a member of voivod’s council and has increased the number of villages by buying.
