Practici otomane reflectate în cronici româneşt

  • Subiect: The Romanian historical texts of the 15th-18th centuries refers broadly to the history, personalities, institutions and customs of the Turks. First of all, we must emphasize that the ethnonym used by the chroniclers is Turkish, while the Ottoman term - commonly used in modern historiography - is mentioned among other appeals, but in no case is used as the current name by the chroniclers. Secondly, we note that this is the only community to which they present and evaluate institutions and customs.
