Intervenţiile Conferinţei de Pace pentru încetarea ostilităţilor şi retragerea armatelor române şi cehe pe noile frontiere fixate de conferinţă. Armistiţiul dintre Ungaria şi Cehoslovacia

  • Subiect: Interventions of the peace conference for the termination of the hostilities and the retreat of the Romanian and Czech armies on the new borders fixet by the conference. Armistice between Hungary and Czechislovacia The Allied and Associated Powers expressed their firm decision to end up all unnecessary hostilities. On June 14, 1919, the Allied Supreme Council notifies, by radio, with absolute priority and extreme urgency, the Romanian, Czechoslovak and Hungarian Government the borders that will separate Hungary from Czechoslovakia and Romania and, at the same time, calls for hostilities between the armed forces of these states to stop immediately. At the same time, in order to convince the Hungarians to evacuate the territory of Czechoslovakia, the Supreme Council promises them that the Romanian Army will also leave the Tisza and retreat to the new border. In accordance with these principles, the Hungarian army is invited to back-off from Czechoslovakia, while at the same time, letting the Hungarian Government know that, once this retreat is completed, the Romanian army, in turn, will retreat to the new Romanian borders. It is to be noted that the nations and governments concerned will help them maintain and execute this decision.
