Subiect: The Raphael's Code
The love between Mary Magdalene and Jesus has already been the subject of various books, like The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ written by Nikos Kazantzakis, or The Da Vinci’s Code by Dan Brown. Following this model, the love between Raphael and Margarita Luti gave birth to another code, which I named The Raphael’s code. Raphael (1483-1520) was an Italian Renaissance painter. Shortly before death, so around 1519-1520, he painted a picture called La Fornarina (Baker's daughter). The painting (oil on wood 87 to 63 centimeters), unfinished, remained after the death of the artist in his studio. It generated a true artistic mystery. ”Fornarina” was Raphael's mistress or wife ? The painting will be modified by Raphael's students, so that the details that whould clarify the story will be hidden. Why did they do this ? We will see below.
