Lacurile organice în arta românească

Subiect: Lakes organic in romanian art The generic name of ”lake” refers either to various natural products such as vegetable resins (namely Chinese lakes), or dyes and resins derived from animal origin (Indian lacquer, gummylac) or to organic pigments (kermes, Brasil lake) manufactured from plant extracts through very specific processes. Those artwork materials allways gathered in the past some interesting ”clues” for master artists in applying and stabilising the lake layers.
