At the 70th Anniversary of R.S.H.S.

Subiect: The 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of The Romanian Society for Historical Sciences (R.S.H.S) is an opportunity to evoke its history. lt has evolved from the professional association subordinated to the Communist political control to today's organization, free of any constraints, interested in promoting scientific knowledge, didactic excellence and a superior professional status for all its members. Today, R.S.H.S has branches in 35 counties of the country and has published starting 1956 a magazine that reached last year the number 85. Since 1968 there have been organized over 50 editions of summer school courses. Today the organization is a member of EUROCLIO. The relationship between the generations is based on its fundamental values, the desire for knowledge and performance, cumulated with professional solidarity.
