Ecouri bănăţene ale răscoalei lui Horea

Subiect: Based on the unpublished documentary material preserved in the Archives of the Hofkammer in Muenz-und Bergwesen (Hofkammerarchiv of Vienna) the article shows the echo of Horea's uprising in the mining region of Banat during its development and immediately after it. From the contemporary evidences there is distinguished the deep anxiety of the mining authorities as regards the possibility that the uprising could be extended from Transylvanin to Banat. Thus, there are noticeable both the reiterated requests of the Banat Mining Directorate addressed to the military authorities. to be equipped with necessary airms in order to set up a guard corps, and the intention to manufacture on the spot cannons destined to support the defence of the foundries and mines in the area. Even after the suppression of the uprising in Transylvania, the mining authorities in Banat were concerned to take some particular steps of security as a result of the groups of "lotri" (outlaws).
