Românii în colecţia cartografică a bibliotecii Brukental (secolele XV-XVIII)

Subiect: The maps of the Romanian area from the XV-XVIIl-th centuries which are to be found in the map-drawing collection of the Brukenthal Library are the subject of this paper. The article is set out in three sections: ancient writers on Romanians, medieval writers on Romanians and the Romanians'map-drawing works. The paper dwells on the critical examination of the maps, not only by observing their elements; but by asserting the relations among them, being useful means in the research work.
