Din corespondenţa arhitectului Nicolae Ghika-Budeşti

Subiect: The letters published here bring to attention the personality of the great architect and historian of architecture Nicolae Ghika-Budeşti (1869 - 1943), one of the founders and promoters of the neo-Romanian style. The correspondence sent to the Minister of Education as well as the letters addressed to Ermil Pangrati, Rector of the Bucharest High School for Architecture, document the tensions this important artist and scholar was not spared. Curiously, a conflict existed between him and another representative of the same architectural movement, State Ciortan. Some differences of opinion also existed between Alexandru Tzigara-Samurcaş, founder and director of the Museum of National Art, and N. Ghika-Budeşti, author of the project of the museum building.
