Determinare limfonodulară de Sarcom Kaposi

  • Subiect: Kaposi sarcoma is a low-grade neoplasm first described by the dermatologist Moritz Kaposi in 1872. Since then, they try to explain the pathogenesis of this disease without finding complete and satisfactory answers. There are still a lot of unexplained aspects about genetics, epidemiology, clinic and histopathology. Same thing about Kaposi’s sarcoma definition, actually described as a neoplasia in which the cancer cells are found in the tissues under the skin. First the lesions are located on the skin and after they can extend to other organs. The variant with lymph nod secondary involvement of Kaposi sarcoma, appear very rare, especially in patients with AIDS. When however appears it must hold attention upon a low immune status, needing through investigations in that direction.
