  • Subiect: The aviator Nadia Russo-Bossie (1901-1988) a reference name in the feminine history of the motor flight from Romania This study presents the life and the career of the first woman pilot from Romania. A true personality who succeeded to fulfill her dr:eam that of becoming a pilot, in spite the fact that she was a woman. She became the first woman from the history of Romanian aviation who entered in the possession of a Romanian brevet. The aviator Nadia Russo was a model of honesty, correctness, of gentleness and devotion for the flight, enjoying eulogistic appreciations from her hierarchical chiefs and also from her comrades. Attractive by her naturalness, and modesty, she expressed through her entire behavior the education and her nobile ambitions of which she was animated, we can appreciate her that trough her entire activity Nadia Russo conquered her right of standing with fairness and honour in the glorious history of the three-coloured wings.
