Subiect: At the end of the eighteenth century, on the two lots of the Orgoeşti estate she inherited from her husband, the medelnicer Constantin Costachi, the 'spătăreasă' (Romanian boyar title) Safta Bogdan founded the Orgoeştii Noi skete, which she subordinated to the Neamţ Monastery. The skete existed until 1860 when, along with other 28 Moldavian sketes and two monasteries, it was dissolved by Alexandru Ioan Cuza. After its dissolution, a charitable establishment for crippled beggars was founded on the premises, known, at the time, under the name of the Orgoeşti Hospice.
