Urbanizare şi urbanism. Structuri socio-profesionale în oraşele din Muntenia

Subiect: The study represents a part of an ampler research destined to turn to account, by processing and analysis, unpublished (or incompletely used until now) statistical sources. The first part of the work, by processing such a source- Statistics of professions, 1863- tried to analyse a socio-economic process generally essential for the progress of the country and particularly for the town planning moderrization. The present study is the first attempt to measure the intensity of this process by using some indices and other values obtained from the processing of the above mentioned statistical source. As well, the analysis helps to have an objective and real image of some socio-economic urban aspects: the proletariat, intellectuals, a.s.o., at the beginning of the modern Romanian State.
