Satul Piscani, judeţul Argeş, în perioada aducerii la linie a caselor izolate

  • Subiect: The Village Piscani, Argeş County, During the Building of the Houses in Linere The building “in line” of the houses was one of the measures of the regular reigns between 1833 and 1840. This measure was not accepted by the rulers of this locality: the boyars and the Valea Monastery. The rulers interdicted the securing of the wood, while the freeholders refused to leave their houses. Because of their condition, the gypsies were the first who were moved, then the socmen from the Bellu estate followed. The process was fulfilled with the help of the sub-ruler Mihai Micescu and his foot soldiers.
