Aspecte ale vegetaţiei lemnoase din Masivul Piatra Craiului

  • Subiect: ASPECTS OF LIGNEOUS VEGETATION IN THE MASSIF PIATRA CRAIULUI Within the ligneous vegetation of the massif Piatra Craiului 8 associations grouped in 3 types : 1) riverside coppice ; 2) woods proper, 3) alpine bushes, are presented. The riverside coppice vegetation is represented by the association Alnetum incanae that grows on the Dîmboviţa valley and its affluent with wider river beds and duper alluvial soil. The most characteristic associations of the woods in the massif are : Fagetum carpaticum, Abieti-Fagetum, Piceetum carpaticum and Piceeto-Fagetum carpaticum ; they form the ligneous vegetation background on the mountainous levei, passing sometimes in the subalpine one (spruce fir forest limit).
