  • Subiect: This paperwork emphasizes a draft which is considered „fashionable", it is popularised by the media and it is the subject of controversy between a lot of famous scientists from different areas-organization management, leadership, psychology, sociology-and namely that of the emotional intelligence. Beyond of the different approaching of the concept, it is considered, and it is unanimously accepted the fact that emotional intelligence is a very important component of human's psychic, much more important in social succeeding than IQ. To be convinced about this thing, during our investigation, which we have briefly presented in this paper, we have tried to identify if there is a connexion between emotional intelligence and professional performance.
